It's effortless to use and will help you keep your snacks fresh for longer and as a bonus it stops; ''I might as well and finish the bag'' thoughts. The sealer resembles a mini flat iron, using heat to close opened bags. No batteries, just plugs into an outlet. Once heated (which is quick), place the tongs over the opened bag, close, and wait 5-10 seconds for the bag to seal. The four sealing lines ensure secure closure & help avoid moisture getting into the bag.
Nearly every bag in your kitchen or pantry can be sealed including aluminum foil bags, plastic bags, paper bags, and PVC material bags. The overall length, not including the power cord, is 6.5'' long. The sealing area is 2 3/4'' long, with a width of 3/4''.
