Carrying on the nearly 250-year-old saw making tradition of that noted brand, and following the processes according to their traditional specifications. The ripsaw is another essential saw for the woodworker's shop, designed to cut along the grain instead of across it. This beautiful, wickedly sharp 26'' 4 1/2 TPI version is made from high carbon alloy steel, two-tone high gloss beechwood handle with brass hardware, and sports extra-large teeth. Taper ground and breasted for less contact, and thus less friction, they are set and sharpened by hand; unusually in this day and age, the teeth can also be resharpened, making this a saw you will keep for many, many years. The Pax logo is laser embossed on the saw plate. Made in the UK.
