Belt and block sanders are great for flat surfaces, but different shapes require different tools, and that's when this sanding drum kit really comes in handy. It's great for finishing pieces & projects with curvature--anything you can't use a belt or flat sander for (in a pinch you can use it on flat surfaces as well). Compatible with all sorts of tools: drill press, flex shafts or portables such as handheld drills. Just slide the abrasive sleeve onto the rubber drum and tighten the belt; the rubber cushioned, self-expanding drums expand to hold the belt securely, with no adhesive needed. 5 drum sets are included in the following sizes: 1/2'', 3/4'', 1'', 1 1/2'', & 2'', plus 4 sets (2 fine, 2 coarse) of cloth-backed resin-bonded abrasive sleeves, one for each drum size. One 1/8'' shank; all others 1/4''. Sturdy, hard plastic carrying case included.
