Natural Jute woven like this in a ''sailor's knot'' pattern is highly rot and abrasion resistant, kind to bare feet and can live outdoors all year - in any climate. Sized 17 x 30'' and 1.'' thick, this is heavy-duty by any measure, but really good looking, we think. As an alternative to the commonly available, similarly sized woven mats made of a petroleum distillate, the value is really there. Highly recommended - especially for a rural house (ranch, farm or weekend home) or out-buildings anywhere.
