Given it's gripping force we've also found it works very well as a nutcracker. Crafted in Spain from solid steel, this jar opener is built for longevity, and the soft grips provide a comfortable and secure hold. (Replacement grips are also included.) With an impressive diameter range of 5/8'' to 5'', this opener accommodates various jar sizes, from small condiment jars to large pickle jars.
